Navaratri Powers
आखिर रावणको खतम करे

Whenever we take any action, it needs some energy or power. How do you ensure that it is positive? The following powers of navaratri in that order help here:
1. Power to Withdraw or Detach
पार्वती देवी
We need to make sure that we don’t get entangled in any situations. We should also detach ourselves from our conditioned mind and try to be the “watcher” of our mind activity rather than getting sucked into it. It helps us stay away from any negativities.
“Withdraw” doesn’t mean withdraw from anyone nor any situation. It just means not to react hastily but respond appropriately.
2. Power to Let Go
मा दुर्गा
Eckhart Tolle calls it as ‘Die to the past every moment”. Don’t hold onto any grudge. Forgive ourself and everyone else. Ask for forgiveness from everyone. Keep life simple. Try to bring closure to all your karmic accounts. Take responsibility for everything that comes our way. It helps us respond in the right way.
3. Power to Tolerate
जगदंबा
Once we are detached and have let go, we don’t really get affected by anyone or anything. No negativity impacts our pure, divine core. We never “create hurt” of ourselves. It doesn’t mean ‘suppress’. Aurobindo once after deep reflection had stated secret of his peace as ‘I don’t mind anything at all’.
4. Power of Acceptance & Love
संतोषी मा
When we don’t mind anything at all, we accept every moment of our life just the way it is. We truly understand why anyone is behaving the way she is which is not matching our expectations. We focus away from the problem and rather focus on the solution. It helps us to be totally content. The Love starts flowing through us for ourselves as well as everyone else.
5. Power to Discern
गायत्री देवी
When we truly understand anyone there is no way to get deceived, cheated nor hurt by anyone. We are the only one who knows what is right for us. We should focus on the positivity, not letting any negativity get to us.
6. Power to Decide
सरस्वती देवी
Once we have carefully considered all the above aspects, what we decide is going to be perfect for everyone. Of course, everyone has to take her own decision. We can at most give advise to others but cannot take decision on their behalf and they have to take their own decision. We should live with everyone but take our own decision.
7. Power to Face
काली मा
After we have done all the above things, there might still be something evil that comes your way. If there is anything unethical, unfair, unjust; you should sure face it. The primary focus of worship of Ramakrishna Paramahansa, guru of more famous Swami Vivekanand, was this Kali Ma. But remember the first thing we should face are our own weaknesses. And to face means to finish them so that they never ever resurface. It means we should get over all our vices.
8. Power to Cooperate
लक्ष्मी मा
Once we have acquired all above powers, we can cooperate with everyone. We don’t worry for anyone but give only blessings to everyone. This way we truly co exist with everyone, every situation and nature all the time. It results in prosperity as represented by Goddess Lakshmi.
Conclusion
If we follow these guiding principles for our every action, there won’t be any accumulation of the karma nor would there be any binding on us due to it. We won’t have to repent any action. Bless the humanity!
